Google Ads PPC Specialist

What You Will Do:

As a Google Ads PPC Specialist at Growth Scalers, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing clients’ paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, including Search, Display, Shopping, and Video Ads. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to develop tailored strategies, execute high-performing campaigns, and optimize for maximum ROI and conversion rates.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Client Communication & Reporting

  • Create a tailored action plan and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
  • Maintain regular client communication, providing detailed performance reports and actionable insights.
  • Address client concerns and proactively recommend improvements to enhance campaign performance.

2. Google Ads Campaign Management

  • Develop, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns for multiple clients, ensuring proper segmentation and targeting.
  • Optimize campaigns based on KPIs such as CTR, conversion rates, CPC, and ROAS.
  • Ideally, use Google Ads Scripts or Google Ads Editor to automate changes or manage campaigns at scale.

3. Keyword Research & Strategy

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-performing search terms.
  • Segment campaigns and ad groups based on customer intent to craft highly targeted ads.
  • Review search terms reports and implement negative keywords to improve campaign efficiency.

4. Ad Copywriting & Testing

  • Write compelling ad copy that effectively communicates the value proposition and product benefits.
  • Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, headlines, and landing pages to improve click-through and conversion rates.

5. Budget & Bid Management

  • Monitor and adjust ad budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and a high return on investment.
  • Implement bid adjustments and smart bidding strategies to improve campaign performance while adhering to budget constraints.

6. Audience Targeting & Development

  • Identify and develop new audience segments to expand reach and improve targeting.
  • Leverage remarketing, lookalike audiences, and custom audience strategies to refine ad targeting.
  • Stay updated on Google Ads algorithm changes and industry best practices.

7. Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Work closely with the design team to create high-converting ad creatives for Google Display and YouTube Ads.
  • Collaborate with other PPC specialists, brand managers, and data analysts to optimize ad performance.
  • Assist in conversion tracking setup and troubleshooting alongside the development team.

Qualifications – What You’ll Need:

Proven Google Ads Experience: Hands-on experience managing Google Search, Display, Shopping, and Video Ads, with a track record of strong results.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of keyword bidding, campaign structure, audience segmentation, and ad extensions.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze campaign data, interpret key metrics, and implement data-driven optimizations.
Google Merchant Center Knowledge: Experience managing shopping feeds and product listing optimization.
Proficiency in Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager (preferred but not required).
Multi-Channel Advertising Experience (Facebook Ads, Microsoft Ads, etc.) is a plus.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly present campaign insights and recommendations to clients and team members.
Time Management: Ability to handle multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Bonus Skills:

➕ Experience with Google Ads Scripts or Google Ads Editor for automation and bulk campaign management.
➕ Experience in multi-channel PPC campaigns, including Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Microsoft Ads.
➕ Familiarity with eCommerce and lead generation PPC strategies.
➕ Experience managing seasonal product ad campaigns.
